Here was my 2010 resolution and overview. Out of the 4 major resolutions, I was almost successful in 2/4 of them.

Things I would like to have in 2011 that I lacked in 2010..
Don’t take everything so seriously. Need to practice anger management and patience skills. Don’t be so snobby, and don’t expect so much from people. I may be a perfectionist, but not everyone can be one.
My biggest achievement of the year..
Was able to pay $11k towards my credit card bills.
I wish I would’ve done more of..
Relaxing and have a more balanced life. Have time to cook, exercise, and work.

Yelling at my boyfriend and making him feel bad all the time.

A valuable life lesson I learned in 2010.
Life is hard, sometimes you have to take few steps back to move forward. not everything can go your way and people cannot do everything you want them to do. This will make me mad, but I have to find a way to deal with it. Compromise is hard in every situation, with your parents, friends… but i hope we’re all going towards the same goal.
and resolutions are coming… have to put that together after some champagne! Happy New Year 2012!
Here are some reasons why I’m not married…
Holiday season was upon us, and it’s one of the best times for engaged or married couples to “strike” upon single or in-a-relationship couples. I expect every single year I’m going to be tormented until I get married, and go through this entire speech about telling my parents… here are reasons why i do not want to get married.
1. I’m a bitch. Yes. an angry bitch. angry at the world, my parents, my mom, everyone in my life in some form or another. Without a lot of therapy, I’m not ready.
2. I’m shallow. You are suppose to only care about a person’s character, but I don’t only take that into account. This person needs to be able to show that he can not only provide for me in times of danger, but also exceed my skills any day. I refuse to be the breadwinner and work to death while my husband sits on his ass all day.
3. I’m selfish. I don’t want to compromise and I want to only work on my career and how to be successful in my life. I spend most of my life fighting for what I want from my parents, and I am hell not ready again to compromise to someone else and lose what I WANT.

Black Friday Loots & Nov Recap

The Holiday Season is upon us! It’s already December 1st!! haha.. Black Friday was sheer craziness this year… and the week leading up to that was SO hectic. I worked 3 days at 12hrs+ each to pump out all the retail sales we were doing at work. What’s kinda funny is this picture that I took at Macy’s on Black Friday….. actually reminds me of a video that debuted today. Justin Beiber & Mariah Carey “All I want is you” video. It makes me so uncomfortable. What a creepy video… LOL. Macy’s is around the corner @ my job.. if I ever see Mariah Carey at Macy’s dressed like that, I’ll be like wtf… LOL
As you can tell.. I didn’t really buy that much stuff during Black Friday.. there wasn’t much I needed this year, so the only item I picked up was the Kinect with 3 games for only $99!! woohoo.. I also got the Dior Doll Mascara Set, Stila Black Eyeliner, Godiva Hot Cocoa (super good), Marc Jacob’s New perfume “Oh Lola”, new Jennifer Aniston Perfume………and these letterpressed owl coasters from West Elm.
Here’s my new addition from West elm, silver mercury Owls perching over my video games hahah! They’re alot lighter than you think!
Comon’ now. Is this a surprise by now? hahahah. If you didn’t know, I got the pink stocking from my bf last year for Xmas.. and I had it up for the ENTIRE year. YES. ENTIRE year.. wtf!!! hahahaha. now it’s completely relevant again! I bought a red stocking this year to match it! soo cute! I love the red firey festive color!
Here’s the other item I purchased… The La Mer Cleansing Face Wash.. because I gave my grandmother Cream de la mer for Christmas and with $300 dollar purchase, you get a free goodie bag… As for the Vera Wang Lovestruck perfume.. that’s new.. my bf bought it for me. Lots of new scents this year! haha
I made a trip back to visit my grandmother 2 weeks ago, and I think I will make another visit before december is over.. it’s going to be a super hectic travel time for me! She always cooks a lot of food when I come, I really miss her.. I am so busy that I don’t call her as often as I should. I feel like at that age, it’s kinda lonely… hopefully when I am old, my kids will call me.. T_T
For thanksgiving holiday, I went to my cousin’s house for the annual feast.. I think I ate like 3 bowls of Mac and Cheese.. #fattie.
Here’s my nephew alex for his first thanksgiving holiday meal. He was very occupied with this plastic plate…. hahaha… Also, have you guys ever heard of Boardwalk Empire? Season 2 epi 1 was filmed at my cousin’s house with steve buscemi! Here’s the clip of the entire scene. so cool!!
To help my coworker get into a very festive spirit (he doesn’t like Christmas).. I devised this plan to wrap his desk over Thanksgiving break in the ugliest christmas wrapping paper we could find. It’s awesome.

I also went to the Katy Perry Concert at Madison Square Garden this past month….filmed completely on my Iphone lol.. so lame. couldn’t bring a camera..
As you may know, I am so ahead of the game.

It’s really hard to believe that these girls would call themselves “hardcore” gamers or .. “here’s a video to help your boyfriend that you exist”. I think it’s kinda silly. I think their bfs would pay more attention if they just played with him and you do your own thing.
Good job trying to get more hits because Call of Duty came out.

UPDATE ON THIS SALE: It was super disappointing. You did not receive a tote that was on the actual invite. Sephora gave out a plain black tote with a usual sephora logo on it. Your friend could not get a tote, but only 20% off coupon. Everything was practically not ready for customers and everything was in chaos inside the store. I didn’t really buy anything except to replenish my boyfriend’s cologne.
Felt like it was a total bait and switch. You are much better off just ordering stuff online and have it delivered to you.

Halloween 2011
HARROWEEN!
You came and past, sorry I didn’t do a makeup roundup like I did last year. This year, I just didn’t feel like there were that many good ideas on youtube that I should post. This was also the year that I felt like I was really busy and couldn’t really put a lot of time into it as I’d like….
What did you guys do this halloween? What did you dress up as?
For me this year I had a Halloween movie party at my apt..so I made a couple of halloween cake pop treats. They’re red velvet center with candy coating! I made these cakepops before previous years, and they were a hit back then..so I thought I’d just step it up a notch by decorating them.
For the witches cake pops, I used orange Tic-Tacs for the nose, Reeses Pieces for eyes, oreo + purple dark chocolate hats. For the rest, I painted them with black food coloring.
For the food items, I got Little Smokies that I thought were very tasty. I never made them before, but it’s super good! Basically I purchased Aidells Chicken & Smoked Turkey Sausage+Chicken Sausage Andouilles and wrapped them around Apple wood smoked bacon, with some Brown sugar. Marinated that, and with Broiler on high, crisped them. It gives you a nice smokey crunch! Very easy to make, and enjoyable!
I also made my usual 4cheeze mac and cheese, and my spinach artichoke dips.
For the “spookier items” for halloween (requested by my over-ly excited boyfriend)
“Brain” Jello. It’s pretty much strawberry jello with gummy worms on top/inside. HAHA. T_T
“Witch’s Eyeball Brew”. It’s basically Pineapple Juice + Orange Juice + Ginger ale for the fizz..and Cherry Jello Mix. The Little “Eyeballs” are pretty much lychees with blueberrys in the middle to look like “an eyeball”. A very fun and tasty drink!
This is one of the movies we watched. Pretty hilarious. You die if you don’t pass out candy for halloween. So much cheese.
Then we watched REC- which is the original version of Quarantine (I’ve already seen it).. and The Orphanage kinda sucked. Wasn’t that scary! 
.. I ended up watching Paranormal Activity3 – which is pretty creepy in the last few minutes.
Anyways, for halloween this year. For my halloween party – i dressed up like snow white.. then for monday’s office – i did the queen of hearts! I used my Chanel Lipstick that i posted previously and used it for both the looks.
Yes. Queen of hearts actually have to go to work. Wah. By the WAY HOW CUTE ARE THE NEW starbucks holiday cups

What? It’s November already?
Damn. November is already here! What happened in October?
Mamalo turned 60 years old, she came to NY to celebrate. I slaved my life away making her food. Survived this one.
This is fresh lobster clam corn chowder. It’s made from 2 fresh lobsters, 2 lbs of Little Neck Clams, and 10 fresh ears of corn. I’m not a fan of cooking lobsters from fresh, because it’s disturbing, but i refuse to buy frozen lobster tails. The taste is just not the same.

This is fresh yellowfin tuna nicoise, which consisted of butter lettus leaves, eggs, and usual salad. Yellowfish tuna steaks are pretty easy to make, only salt/pepper and olive oil, 3 min on each side.. and you get a medium sear on the outside. Delicious! To make the vinaigrette fresh, squeeze fresh lemon juice + olive oil with salt/pepper/garlic. Lemon-acid should always be 1:3 of the mixture.
