Holiday season was upon us, and it’s one of the best times for engaged or married couples to “strike” upon single or in-a-relationship couples. I expect every single year I’m going to be tormented until I get married, and go through this entire speech about telling my parents… here are reasons why i do not want to get married.
1. I’m a bitch. Yes. an angry bitch. angry at the world, my parents, my mom, everyone in my life in some form or another. Without a lot of therapy, I’m not ready.
2. I’m shallow. You are suppose to only care about a person’s character, but I don’t only take that into account. This person needs to be able to show that he can not only provide for me in times of danger, but also exceed my skills any day. I refuse to be the breadwinner and work to death while my husband sits on his ass all day.
3. I’m selfish. I don’t want to compromise and I want to only work on my career and how to be successful in my life. I spend most of my life fighting for what I want from my parents, and I am hell not ready again to compromise to someone else and lose what I WANT.

Are you getting pressured to marry? My sister is 36 and she refuse to get married until she wins the lottery.
Most people are getting married and i'm now the “weird one” to not be ready for it
hahaha, this is pretty funny. Ahhh, i shall keep this in mind when the topic of marriage comes up for me.. (hopefully never, like you said. Being a bitch, being shallow & being selfish about your own wants is a perfectly good reason to not be married)
